AIS and the Griffiss Institute Partner for Educational Lecture Series

ROME, NY – Assured Information Security (AIS) and the Griffiss Institute (GI), two companies with a long-standing relationship and both headquartered in the Griffiss Business and Technology Park, are teaming up once again to present a virtual education series around trending topics in cyber and information security. The presentations will be conducted by AIS engineers and scientists who are working on cutting-edge research and development projects.

The idea for the series was developed by Rian Quinn, PhD, Chief Technology Officer at AIS, and Patrick Hurley, Principal Engineer at the GI.

“Several engineers and scientists at AIS participate in a Technical Council, which works to support Internal Research and Development (IRaD) projects in a variety of ways,” said Quinn. “The GI Lecture Series is the perfect platform for our staff to share their research findings and expertise with the public.”

Quinn will kick off the series with his presentation titled, “What is Retpoline?”, on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at 11am EST. Registration for this event is open until Tuesday, March 23, at 12pm EST.

Each presentation in the series will take place at 11am EST and will be open to the public. The ideal audience are those who are working or studying within the field of cyber and information security.
